Scholarships
As a notion of our patron Venerable Muruthamure Pannaloka thero, Esala Foundation took the initiation to launch a scholarship program for the students with financial difficulties. Along with the aid and support of our kind hearted members and well-wishers of Esala Foundation, we have introduced a scholarship program for selected students to keep up with their educational activities. University and schooling students with financial difficulties are eligible for this scholarship program.

We are delighted to share that two additional monthly scholarships have been granted to students from a rural school in the Polonnaruwa district who are facing financial challenges. This initiative has been made possible through the generosity of our valued well-wisher, Dr. Saman, and the kind support of our member, Mr. Binara. Their contribution is helping these students continue their education with renewed hope and opportunity.

We are pleased to announce that monthly scholarships have been awarded to three students facing financial difficulties at a rural school in the Ratnapura district. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of kind-hearted well-wishers (Dr. Saman and Ms. Heenatigala), whose support is helping these students continue their education.

We offered scholarships for two students with financial difficulties in a rural school in Galle district. A kind hearted member of Esala Foundation and a well-wishers (Dr. Saman/ Mr. Kasun) were involved in providing these two scholarships.

We offered another scholarship for a student with financial difficulties who passed the Grade 5 scholarship exam in 2020 with higher marks and selected to a National School in Colombo. Mr. Terrence, a kind hearted member of Esala Foundation will take care of this scholarship until he completes his education.

Esala Foundation launched this program on 21st December 2021 with a monthly scholarship for a university student to continue studies. Dr. Thusharika, a loving member of Esala foundation took the charge of taking care of the expenses until he passes out from the university.
