Blood Donation Campaign 31st January 2026

We are proud to announce that our third Blood Donation Campaign was successfully held on January 31st, 2026, at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, this life-saving initiative once again brought hope to those in critical need. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed their time and the gift of life. Together, we are making a meaningful difference.

Flowers and Cool Drinks Dansala
10th July 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Esala Foundation successfully concluded a Flowers and Cool Drinks Dansala on 10th July 2025 at the Wijayarama Temple, Nugegoda.

Rural School Development Project
28th April 2025

We are proud to announce the successful completion of our Rural School Development Project 2025 at Kegalugama Kanishta Vidyalaya, Polonnaruwa. This initiative was carried out with the aim of creating a better learning environment and supporting the educational journey of rural children. With the collective efforts of our team and the generous support of well-wishers, we were able to bring meaningful change that will continue to inspire and empower young learners for years to come.

Meal Donation at a Rural School – Galle
31st January 2025

We organized a meal donation at a rural school in Galle, offering every student a clean and complete meal of pizza. Animal Feeding Event – 20th of July 2024

Donation to a rural school in Embiliptiya
12th of July 2024

We are thrilled to share that Sarisha and Shamane, dedicated members of the Esala Foundation, recently visited the school in Embilipitiya where we conducted our previous rural school development project. During their short vacation in Sri Lanka, they generously provided much-needed school supplies as part of our ongoing efforts.

Rural School Development Project 2024
18th of March 2024

The Esala Foundation successfully completed the Rural School Development Project 2024 at a rural school in Julangate, Embilipitiya, on 18th March, with the support of members and well-wishers of the foundation. Mal Dansala 2023 – 3rd of July 2023

Rural School Development Project 2023
27th of February 2023

Esala Foundation successfully concluded the annual major event, ‘Rural School Development Project’ on the 27th of February 2023. We donated books and stationary for over 325 students, offered scholarships and open bank accounts for some selected students. In addition to that we donated items needed for the school including sports equipment and musical instruments.

Herbal Plants Donation
19th of September 2022

Esala foundation made a donation of herbal plants and name boards to the “Osu Uyana” arranged by Meth Bo Sewana meditation center. Special thank goes to the members who donated medicinal plants.

Donation of Buddhist Flags for a Temple
27th of August 2022

Esala foundation offered Buddhist flags to be hung around the Dagaba of the Embuldeniya Vijitharama Temple. This was an annual puja done by Esala and now Esala Foundation has attend for its continuation.

Donation for a Children Library
21st of August 2022

Esala foundation donated books and made a monetary contribution to the Children’s library Setup by Tharuki Jayarathne for her Scouting President Award final project. The library will be arranged at the Sudharmarama temple, Udahamulla for the benefit of the children in that area. Esala Foundation collected these books through the ‘Sharing a Book’ member activity.

Pichcha Plants Planting Ceremony
6th of February 2022

Esala Foundation contributed to the Anuradhapura Pushpa Udyana Boomi puja pinkama on the 16th of September 2021 and on 26th of February 2022 we participated to the Pichcha Plants planting ceremony conducted by Venerable Walpola Gothama Thero at Anuradhapura Pushpa Udyana. The purpose of the Pushpa Udyanaya is to provide theras worshipping Ruwanweliseya with pichcha flowers.

Rural School Development Project
31st of January 2022

The Rural School Development Project 2022 organized by the Esala Foundation was successfully concluded on the 31st of January with the immense support and contribution of Nalanda College, Colombo, members and well-wishers of Esala Foundation.
The memories of the gracious welcome offered to us at the school itself will never depart from our minds, and we were fortunate enough to witness the amazing talents of the students by their beautiful performances and the ‘Singithi Pola’ that proceeded afterwards.
And it is with hearts full of gratitude that we thank the donations, contribution and support received by the Nalanda College, the members of the foundation and everyone else, without whom this project wouldn’t have been possible and was one of the main reasons for its enormous success.
