Animal Feeding Event

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your incredible support and participation in our event to feed stray dogs on Esala Poya Day. Your dedication and compassion made a significant difference in the lives of these animals, and it wouldn't have been possible without your efforts.
Donation to a rural school in Embiliptiya

We are thrilled to share that Sarisha and Shamane, dedicated members of the Esala Foundation, recently visited the school in Embilipitiya where we conducted our previous rural school development project. During their short vacation in Sri Lanka, they generously provided much-needed school supplies as part of our ongoing efforts.
Beach Cleanup 2024

The Esala Foundation successfully hosted a beach cleanup at the Wallawatta beach, on 15th June, with the support of members pf the foundation.

The Esala Foundation successfully completed the Blood Donation Campaign 2024 at Vijitharamaya Temple in Embuldeniya, on 6th April, with the support of members and well-wishers of the foundation.
Rural School Development Project 2024

The Esala Foundation successfully completed the Rural School Development Project 2024 at a rural school in Julangate, Embilipitiya, on 18th March, with the support of members and well-wishers of the foundation. Mr. Iran Champika De Silva, Principal of Nalanda College, joined us as the chief guest.
Donation to a Dhamma School in Thanamalwila

The Esala Foundation donated stationary items to a Dhamma School in Thanamalwila, on 17th March, with the support of members and well-wishers of the foundation.
Mal Dansala 2023
Date - 3rd of July 2023
Esala Foundation successfully conducted the Mal Dansala event for the second consecutive year on 3rd July 2023 (Esala Full Moon Poya Day) at Kotte Raja Maha Viharaya.
Blood Donation Campaign
Date - 8th of April 2023
Esala Foundation successfully conducted a Blood Donation Campaign on 8th April 2023 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Vijitharamaya Temple in Embuldeniya together with the National Blood Bank.
Rural School Development Project 2023
Date - 27th of February 2023
Esala Foundation successfully concluded the annual major event, 'Rural School Development Project' on the 27th of February 2023. We donated books and stationary for over 325 students, offered scholarships and open bank accounts for some selected students. In addition to that we donated items needed for the school including sports equipment and musical instruments.
Dry Food Donation

Our patron Ven Muruthamure Pannaloka Thero dirsributed 300 dry food parcels on 7th of November 2022.

Herbal Plants Donation
Date - 19th of September 2022
Esala foundation made a donation of herbal plants and name boards to the “Osu Uyana” arranged by Meth Bo Sewana meditation center. Special thank goes to the members who donated medicinal plants.
Donation of Buddhist Falgs for Vijitharama Temple
Date - 27th of August 2022
Esala foundation offered Buddhist flags to be hung around the Dagaba of the Embuldeniya Vijitharama Temple. This was an annual puja done by Esala and now Esala Foundation has attend for its continuation.
Sports Items for a Rural School

Esala Foundation donated a number of sports items to B/ Arawaththa Kanishta Vidhyalaya, Mahiyanganaya.
Donation for a Children Library
Date - 21st of August 2022
Esala foundation donated books and made a monetary contribution to the Children's library Setup by Tharuki Jayarathne for her Scouting President Award final project. The library will be arranged at the Sudharmarama temple, Udahamulla for the benefit of the children in that area. Esala Foundation collected these books through the 'Sharing a Book' member activity.
Shramadana Campaign

Esala Foundation successfully conducted a Shramadana Campaign on 20th August 2022 from 8 AM to 5 PM at Methbosewana Meditation Center, Ahangama, Galle.

ඇසළ චමුදිත මැදවත්ත අප අතරින් සමුගෙන වසරක් පිරීම නිමිති කොට ගෙන මුරුතමුරේ පඤ්ඤාලෝක ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ විසින් 2022 අප්රේල් මස 8 වන සිකුරාදා ප.ව. 7.30 ට ඔහුගේ නිවසේදී පවත්වන ලදි. මෙය Zoom සහ fb live ඔස්සේද විකාශය කරන ලදී.

Pichcha Plants Planting Ceremony
Date - 26th of February 2022
Esala Foundation contributed to the Anuradhapura Pushpa Udyana Boomi puja pinkama on the 16th of September 2021 and on 26th of February 2022 we participated to the Pichcha Plants planting ceremony conducted by Venerable Walpola Gothama Thero at Anuradhapura Pushpa Udyana. The purpose of the Pushpa Udyanaya is to provide theras worshipping Ruwanweliseya with pichcha flowers.
Rural School Development Project -2022
Date - 31st of January 2022
The Rural School Development Project 2022 organized by the Esala Foundation was successfully concluded on the 31st of January with the immense support and contribution of Nalanda College, Colombo, members and well-wishers of Esala Foundation.
The memories of the gracious welcome offered to us at the school itself will never depart from our minds, and we were fortunate enough to witness the amazing talents of the students by their beautiful performances and the ‘Singithi Pola’ that proceeded afterwards.
And it is with hearts full of gratitude that we thank the donations, contribution and support received by the Nalanda College, the members of the foundation and everyone else, without whom this project wouldn’t have been possible and was one of the main reasons for its enormous success.

Donation for a Cancer patient

Esala Foundation gave a special donation to a Cancer patient who undergo treatments at the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. Member of Esala foundation contributed for this social activity.
